AR Trigger Group Pins

Here is the knowledge share we enjoyed yesterday

"It's Sunday night, it's raining, let's learn somethin. Tell me, what's the difference between a small or large pin trigger group in an AR15?"

Facebook fans answered:
William: Small pin is standard. Large pin is something that Colt did so that no "modifications" could be made. Fortunately they stopped that nonsense. Recently, I think.

Michael: Colt stopped using the .170" pins about 3 years ago......

Jim: To make it harder to mod for full auto, etc.
